We had a strong attendance from participants, hosting over 70 visitors to our school! We had wonderful guest speakers, and we were very proud to have our very own staff present several workshops as well!
Keynote
The day started with a welcoming coffee, the buzz of excitement and a good dose of intrigue for the events to follow. Our opening Keynote was by Susan Stewart who shared her own experiences with her family and their language journey. This set the tone for our concurrent sessions, where participants were able to select the workshops, they were most interested in. The sessions involved sharing experiences and some placed us in the shoes of our learners and challenged us with hands on activities.
ISU radio
After lunch it was a delight to have our very own Mr Ollie Allport present the ISU radio and this was sure to light the embers of inspiration even further. We ended the day with nano table sharing, where participants could gather to discuss topics on their minds and make further connections.Overall, it was a successful day and a big thank you must go out to everyone who helped organise and ensure that the day ran smoothly.
We are looking forward to the next one!
