Board members
Our board member for primary is Anko van Hoepen (SPO Utrecht, on the left) and our board member for secondary is Jeroen Kreijkamp (NUOVO Scholen on the right). Mr Van Hoepen and Mr Kreijkamp work together closely in carrying out their board responsibilities for the two divisions of ISU.
Anko van Hoepen began his career in education as a teacher at various primary schools in Zeeland. He subsequently became headteacher of primary school ‘t Honk and then a member of the Executive Board of the Alpha Scholengroep. Anko van Hoepen then made the move to Utrecht, where he took up a position as a board member for the PO Raad (Primary Education Council). Since January 2022, Anko van Hoepen has been chairman of the Executive Board of SPO Utrecht.
Jeroen Kreijkamp is an experienced leader with a great passion for education. With a background in industrial engineering and work experience as an organisational consultant, his introduction to Utrecht's educational sector began when he was appointed as Alderman for Education, Personnel & Organisation and Public Services in 2010, followed four years later in 2014 by his role as Alderman for Finance, Education and Economic Affairs. After a brief stint as managing director of Hilversum Marketing, Jeroen Kreijkamp has been a member of the Executive Board of NUOVO since September 2022.
Partnerships
ISU is a member of the Dutch International Schools (DIS), a group of over thirty schools providing internationally oriented primary and/or secondary education, known in Dutch as Internationaal Geörienteerd Onderwijs. Members of the DIS are all affiliated to a national school. For primary, ISU is proud to be partners with the Daltonschool Rijnsweerd and for secondary, with UniC secondary school.
