After School Activities & Care

We work together with after school care provider Kind & Co.

After school child care (in Dutch: BSO) is provided at our school campus by child care organisation Kind & Co. Together with Kind & Co, we also offer a variety of after school activities, mostly geared towards primary students. These activities are open to all students, regardless whether they use the BSO or not.

Bilingual group at daycare Woudrijk in Papendorp

Kind & Co has opened an English-Dutch group at Woudrijk, a daycare facility in Papendorp near the school. The group is specifically intended for children whose home language is English, or any language other than Dutch. The group is bilingual. One pedagogical staff member will speak English, while the other will speak Dutch. Woudrijk is located at the Tirionlaan 1 at Utrecht Papendorp, close to the big bridge. Woudrijk is easily accessible by car via the A2 and A12.

What does Woudrijk daycare centre offer?

We offer childcare to 0–4-year-olds, divided over a number of different groups. The use of natural materials and colours in our spaces creates a sense of calm. A variety of developmental toys and materials are available for the children to discover and play with. We have an outdoor play area with a playpen for the babies, a sandpit, a play frame, and a vegetable garden so that the children can play and discover both indoors and out.

The staff offers a safe environment, both physically and socially-emotionally, and they track the children’s development. We follow a regular daily schedule of theme-based activities such as story-reading, singing, playing, and crafting. We also regularly offer workshops such as music.

For current placement opportunities please contact, Cynthia Baars, Please note that there may be a waiting list.
