We picked a perfect day (the sun was out!) and there was lots to see. The floor of the back of the building had just been laid and two cranes were ready to start putting up the steel construction of this part of the building. This construction consists of steel columns and beams. Between these, precast concrete floors will be placed. By the end of August, early September you'll be able to see the roofline.
For the construction process the project has been divided into two sections: the low-rise building (3 storeys) at the back and the high-rise building at the front (3 storeys and the sports halls).

Parking Garage
Work on the parking garage under the high-rise part of the building is in full swing. On Thursday 26 June the concrete will be poured for the parking garage floor. This will happen in one day and 930 cubic meters of concrete will be poured. The concrete trucks will be coming and going for about 10 hours that day. Around the end of this school year, the exterior walls of the parking garage will be finished. The construction of the high-rise building will be roughly finished around March 2026.
Water tight
For the low-rise building, starting from mid-September Van Wijnen will make the roof water tight and begin work on the facades. Once the first facades are in place, we can start with the main infrastructure for the installations. At that point, we'll also begin the interior finishing of the low-rise building. This means the first interior walls will be installed.
You can expect the next building update in October 2025. In the meantime you can follow construction by watching the live stream.
