How to apply

Welcome to International School Utrecht,

The school term started on 1 September, and it is wonderful to see all our students back in school.

ISUtrecht is still accepting applications in various grades. Please be aware that applications for grade 11 of the Diploma Programme can now only be processed ready for September 2021 entry.

To enter an enquiry – please follow the steps below, keeping in mind that physical tours will not be possible for now,  and where appropriate we will arrange  online interviews and talks (via skype).  To keep in touch with  the latest developments regarding the impact of COVID-19 please view the corona page on the school website

OpenApply

To help us support and guide prospective students and their families through all the aspects of the online application process, the International School Utrecht uses OpenApply. The OpenApply application system is the best way to get to know your child and to make sure that there is a good match between the school’s educational provision and your child’s needs. There are various steps involved in the process, and we will be asking you many questions, including languages, educational and family background.

Step 1: Please complete an initial enquiry form

Step 2: From this point onwards you will be guided step by step through the process and we can easily communicate with you about the next stages. Part of this might include a tour or an open day (kindergarten). A tour can only be booked once the enquiry has been made.

Your enquiry may remain just that, or you may wish to proceed to the application stage. This is the information you will be required to upload:

  • passport photo
  • passport copy (relevant pages only)
  • signed employee statement explaining temporary employment status
  • signed parent consent form
  • copies of last two years final academic reports
  • transfer of application fee (250 euros)
  • teacher reference form (if relevant)

Please be aware that being invited to apply is not the same as a confirmation of placement.

If you have any questions not yet answered within online applications or on the FAQ page – then please do not hesitate to contact us using the OpenApply Portal.

We look forward to meeting your family and introducing ISUtrecht in further detail,

Kind regards,

Admissions team: Anna Jackson, Erin Vencken and Kate Corder.
