Welcome to International School Utrecht, and welcome to Admissions,
We are glad you are wanting to learn more about the International School. The OpenApply enquiry and admissions procedure is geared towards getting to know your child and to make sure that there is a good match between the school’s educational provision and your child’s needs. There are various steps involved in the process, and we will be asking you many questions, including questions about languages, educational and family background.
Before you place an enquiry, we encourage all families to have a look through the school website, so that they have a good feel of the school and have a chance to ‘gather’ their queries or areas of interest. Please also view the Frequently Asked Questions page?

OpenApply
Step 1: Please complete an initial enquiry form.
Step 2: From this point onwards you will be guided step by step through the process and we can easily communicate with you about the next stages. Part of this might include a tour or an open day (kindergarten). A tour can only be booked once the enquiry has been made. Please note, tours are currently taken place virtually and not physically.
Your enquiry may remain just that, or you may wish to proceed to the application stage. This is the information you will be required to upload:
- passport photo
- passport copy (relevant pages only)
- signed employee statement explaining temporary employment status
- signed parent consent form
- copies of last two years final academic reports
- transfer of application fee (250 euros)
- teacher reference form (if relevant)
Please be aware that being invited to apply is not the same as a confirmation of placement.
If you have any questions not yet answered within online applications or on the FAQ page – then please do not hesitate to contact us using the OpenApply Portal.
Admissions team: Anna Jackson, Erin Vencken and Kate Corder.
