Niamh Keane

School Counselor, Psychologist

Niamh Keanne grew up in a small village on the west coast of Ireland. After finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Limerick- Ireland, Niamh knew she wanted a career focused on child psychology. This decision was helped through working in her parents’ crèche from a young age, and as well through her undergraduate placements in a local primary school, and a summer camp in the US.

Niamh decided that a Master’s degree in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at Utrecht University was the right decision for her, and so she moved to the Netherlands. Through her course, she began an internship at International School Utrecht, and she hasn’t looked back since. Niamh is very excited to start her new role as School Counselor/Psychologist this year.

Niamh loves to travel and experience new cultures, and has done this throughout her university years, including a semester abroad in Leuven, Belgium in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, meeting friends, and staying active.
