Leader of Middle Years; Physical Health Education
Liam Moody is originally from England and grew up in Swindon. After progressing through the English school system Liam Moody started travelling around various parts of the world before deciding to become a lifeguard and swimming instructor. His passion for teaching swimming encouraged him to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education and Teaching at the University of Chichester.
Since graduating University Liam has worked in various English state schools teaching Physical Education to 11-18 year olds. He also worked with local primary schools, helping them to develop their Physical Education programs and lessons.
Liam started teaching at ISUtrecht in January 2015 and took on the role of Leader of Middle Years in August 2018.
Liam has a passion for all types of sport and grew up playing football and rugby for a club. He also swam competitively. He hopes that his influence and knowledge will encourage pupils at ISUtrecht to take up and experience new sports inside and outside of lessons. Physical Education is an important part of everyone’s life and the earlier you can experience, understand and enjoy being active, the more likely it is that you carry on keeping fit and healthy throughout your whole life.
