Secondary Media Resources

Eleanor Good was born and raised in the United States, living most of her life in Indiana. In 2017 she decided to leave for a new adventure and, after a brief time in Ireland, moved to The Netherlands and has been here ever since.

Eleanor originally graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors’ in Food Anthropology and Japanese Language and a Masters in Anthropology. In addition, she has had additional post-graduate training experiences at both Trinity College Dublin and VU Amsterdam. Eleanor also has several years’ experience teaching at university level and is excited to bring her love of research to ISUtrecht.

As secondary librarian, Eleanor will work to encourage increased literacy, raise the profile of the library within the school, and provide research skills support. This position allows her to fulfill her childhood dream of being a secondary school librarian and she is so excited to be here at ISUtrecht.

In her spare time, Eleanor likes to pet her two cats (and an adorable dog that thinks he is a cat), read, knit/crochet, and write in a variety of mediums.
