Who lives, who dies, who tells your story – On Stage!
Well, what can I say, I simply loved the production! I took my (highly critical) 16yo daughter and she was raving about it on the way home. So from the bottom of both our hearts: ‘Thank you drama troupe, production team, Jeffersons, costume makers, Mr E, David de Geus, Juan Osorio, Anne Brandwagt and Sherna Fester for putting on such a great show!’.

As soon as we entered the ZIMIHC theatre Zuilen is was clear that Who lives, who dies, who tells your story was a show run by students. We were warmly welcomed by students at the ticket office, who provided us with a program as well as an assignment to go and read it. This by the way totally made sense as it was really nice we had some background on Alexander Hamilton before seeing the show.
We were blown away by the flair and energy of the actors, the singing, dancing and power of the story of Hamilton’s tumultuous life told through rap songs. We were really impressed by the musical talent in Jeffersons, the school band that accompanied the production.
Your obedient servant
We left the theatre with our head full of songs – The room where it happens, Wait for it, Your obedient servant, Who lives, who dies, who tells your story – pondering the question: ‘What is a legacy?’
